Illustration: A preacher friend told of the apple growers taking a crab apple tree that has died, cutting it off at the ground and grafting in a red delicious branch. In several years that particular tree will bear red delicious apples. It must be pruned of the water spouts or they will bear crab apples. I once was a crab apple which God grafted into a red delicious tree. Without the pruning of the Husbandman I also will bear crab apples.
