STRANGE MINISTERS
Ministers
come in all kinds of packages. On a earthly basis some are fat, skinny,
tall, short, loud, quiet, friendly, or reserved. But if they are God’s
men they all have a message. Because of their package we sometimes miss
the message. We are so taken by them that the message goes right over our
heads. On a spiritual basis this is also true. The messengers that God
allows to come into our lives are sometimes wrapped in packages that we
don*t
particularly care for and when He speaks to our lives we miss the message.

D. L Moody en route from England to
New York. While sailing they encountered a hurricane. One asked why he
could remain so calm in the midst of the storm. He replied that he had a
sister in heaven and one in New York and he had no preference as to whom
he saw first.
