No Text:
1. Born in an obscure village.
2. A child of a peasant woman.
3. Without a bed to lay on.
4. Without a house to live in.
5. Without a cradle to be rocked in.
6. Without a right to stay in the village where he was born.
7. Had to move to another village.
8. Had to work in a carpenters shop until he was thirty years old.
9. Had to be an itinerant preacher for three years.
10. He never wrote a book.
11. He never held an office.
12. He never married or had a family.
13. He never owned a house or place to lay his head.
14. He never went to college.
15. He never visited a big city.
16. He never traveled 200 miles from the place he was born.
17. He never accomplished anything great as people think greatness in the world.
18. He never had any credentials but himself.
19. At 33 the tide of public opinion turned against him so much that his friends ran away.
His enemies turned on him and with a mocked trial they demanded death by crucifying him.
20. He was nailed to a cross between two thieves.
21. While he was dying his enemies gambled for his clothing the only property he owned on
earth.
22. He had no clothes to be buried in.
23. He had no tomb to be buried in {except a borrowed one, but he didn’t need it but
three days}.
24. He left out after this and yet 19 centuries have passed, come and gone.
Changes have taken place in all ages. During these nineteen centuries men have gone to the
lowest depths of the pits of sin and highest points of the moon. Yet this child is the
central figure of the human race and the leader of mankind’s progress.
1. All the armies that ever marched.
2. All the Navy’s that ever sailed.
3. All the parliaments that ever sat.
4. All the kings that ever reigned.
5. All the religions that ever existed.
All put together have not affected the life of man on earth as much as this child.
God’s ultimate for him is to reign in heaven and in earth until every knee has bowed
and every tongue confessed that he is Christ and Lord.
