1 Peter: 5:7

Isaiah 66:13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
II.Like A Father For His Child-Sin
Psalms: 103:13: Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
III.Like A Nurse For Her Charges
1 Thessalonians: 2:7: But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children.
IV. Like A Shepherd For His Sheep-Lost
Ezekiel: 34:12: As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
V.Like A Mother Hen For Her Chicks-Danger
Matthew: 23:37: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the
prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would
I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen
gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not.
